A Radical Way to Close 2024
I imagine you might be feeling the full out end-of-year push right now
Trying to squeeze every last drop of our energy into holiday parties, work deadlines, and checking everything off the list before midnight on December 31st.
But instead of getting caught up in the rush, I have a different ask of you:
What would it mean to finish this year with intention?
Here’s the thing….closing out your year in a powerful way isn’t actually about doing more. It’s about reflecting and honoring what has been and what matters most to you.
When you close something intentionally instead of slamming the door shut, you’re able to carry that energy through into the next year - creating the most in-flow and aligned year yet.
So before we dive into 2025, would you pause and reflect with me?
Here are a few journal prompts to get you started…
What are you taking with you from 2024? What are you leaving behind?
What are you most proud of from 2024?
What’s your boldest intention for the year ahead?
And because there’s also power in sharing with community , I’d love to give you a sneak peek into my own journal reflections as we close 2024.
What are you taking with you from 2024? What are you leaving behind?
I'm taking with me the power of community. I just came back from 5 days in the desert on retreat with 20 other women who were strangers to me on day 1. With each circle and each share, something opened up in the group where by the end we felt more like intimate lifelong friends. My heart is full and knowing spaces like these are needed to learn and play and grow together.
And I'm leaving behind the feeling of "I can't do it because I don't know how." Gosh - this one has been there a long time for me and let me tell you, you're signing up for the "I don't know" as an entrepreneur because everything is new and builds on each other. I know now I'm well prepared for everything I feel I'm ready for, and I’m playing with this mantra to challenge and expand myself. What are you most proud of from 2024?
I'm most proud of leaning into play with my work. This year has been a mix of all the emotions and as we're nearing the end of this year, I'm smiling thinking about the fun leading the private retreats with my clients this past Summer. Each one was so different and magical. I’m holding each of those experiences as major highlights of this past year. Several years ago, I redefined my version of success to include play, joy and ease and this year has felt MORE and MORE of that than ever before. What’s your boldest intention for the year ahead?
My boldest intention is to become The Invitation for more. (I'm excited to see how this manifests!)
Would you share what’s coming up for you in your reflections? I would love to hear from you.
And if you’re in the thick of the holiday push, may you give yourself permission to soften into a PAUSE. It’s the ultimate gift!
With♡and gratitude,
Jennifer
PS: If this is resonating with you, and you’re ready to make 2025 the year that feels most like YOU, I’m working behind the scenes on something that I think you’ll love. Once I put the finishing touches on it, you’ll be the first to know. Stay tuned!
