The Other Side Of Gratitude

This past week has been the week of GRATITUDE circling around the holiday of Thanksgiving. I imagine your email inbox has been like mine and swinging between all the deals deals deals and expressions of gratitude.

When we think about gratitude, it's often easy to say what we're thankful for in our world around us. This quickly can become an honoring of things that people have done for us, things we appreciate about others or a list of things that we have either built or received.

As we close out this holiday week and venture into a new one, I wanted to invite you to turn the lens around and see how you're also grateful for YOU and what you're most proud of yourself for this year.

Consider the following:

  • What's one thing you're proud of in how YOU showed up with those you love this past year?

  • What's one way YOU personally stepped out of your comfort zone this year?

  • What's one way that YOU advocated for yourself in your career?

  • What's one way that YOU surprised yourself this year?

These are the things that you can add to the top of that gratitude list and next time you're sitting around the dinner table, ask your loved ones how they're most proud of themselves and see what unfolds from there.

And being on brand with this theme, thank you for being here and being part of this community! I'm proud of how I've shared more of myself this year with you all and will continue to even more this next year. Looking forward for what's to come!

With and gratitude,
Jennifer
