Don’t Rush Through Summer

This Summer is all about abundance.

It’s a season of playing full out, radiating joy, and being in full bloom.
But so many of us barely feel that.

By the time Labor Day rolls around, we often look back and wonder where it all went. We pack our calendars totally full, but in the process, miss the real invitation of the season.

That’s because we get pulled into a version of summer that is fast, full and focused on doing more. If you're looking at your summer schedule, asking yourself how to be even more productive, this is probably for you.

There are so many reasons to slow down and savor it all.

This is about tapping into the natural energy of summer. One that helps you feel abundant without doing more, encourages you to be seen rather than second-guess yourself, and reminds you that joy and play are reason enough.

Hello Summer. This is your invitation to play full out and claim your sacred energy of being ripe and ready! You have all you need, there’s no more that needs to be done to press play and go.

Put your hand on your body and repeat after me, “I am called to the invitation of Summer, to grant myself the permission I’ve always dreamed of. I awaken to the natural rhythm within me. It's time to play.”

When you align with this rhythm, things start to shift.
☀️ You start noticing more of the magical moments.
☀️ You stop doubting yourself and trust yourself to be fully seen.
☀️ You prioritize your joy and time to play.
☀️ And maybe, just maybe you may stop rushing past the good stuff.

Here are 3 ways to tap into summer’s natural energy:

  1. Spend time outside without a goal
Sit in the sun. Go for a walk. Watch the sky. Leave the screens behind and let yourself notice that it’s summer.

  2. Practice being seen
Invite yourself to show up a little more honestly. This could mean speaking your mind and heart, or post something that feels true instead of perfect.

  3. Make space for fun with no outcome
You don’t have to earn your joy. Let yourself be playful just because. If you're wondering where to start, do something fun that you would've only done as a kid.

This season does not need to be productive to be powerful. Let this be the Summer of You.

With and gratitude,
Jennifer
